Parents of teenagers are doing a good job

We know that one of the key protective factors against drug or alcohol problems is how young people get on with their parents.
The other day we saw a paper produced for the DCSF about the impact of alcohol on young people which confirmed:
having adults who retain good relationships with a young person, characterised by appropriate levels of support and control, is likely to be protective.
