Ketamine Messages, Ketamine Use

The BBC report on some public health messages that are being screened on a house in Bristol.

The picture to the right is an example of what residents in the area will see and the BBC say:

Each features warnings about the side-effects including numbness, paralysis, hallucinations and bladder problems.

The focus on ketamine use comes following its increasing use in the city and a seizure of £225,000 worth of the Class C drug in March.

The story sent me to look at what we know about young people’s use of the drug nationally.  And having looked at Drug use, smoking and drinking among young people in England in 2007 and Drug Misuse Declared: Findings from the 2007/08 British Crime Survey I’ve come up with the following chart.
