New Ministerial Team at DCSF

Looks like there’s been some changes to the Ministerial team at the DCSF.

In comes Baroness Delyth Morgan (moving over from DIUS, where she’s been responsible for Intellectual Property and Quality) and Sarah McCarthy-Fry MP (who was PPS to the former Chief Whip).

Out go Lord Adonis (to the Department of Transport) and Kevin Brennan (who moves to the Cabinet Office).

The DCSF website doesn’t yet give an indication of what policy responsibilities the new Ministers will have.

Over at the Home Office there have also been changes with Vernon Coaker taking on policing, and being replaced by Alan Campbell MP.

More details of the Ministerial appointements on the Guardian’s website.

Update – unconfirmed, but it I think it will be Baroness Morgan who will be taking the lead on drug and alcohol issues for young people.
