Poster’s teenage alcohol warning | Gloucestershire

A hard-hitting poster campaign showing a drunk and defenceless young woman is due to hit the streets of Cheltenham after the bank holiday.

It will go on display in pubs, clubs, schools and bus shelters.

The posters are aimed at making parents think about where their children are and what they might be drinking. The spokesperson from the council which has commissioned them says:

“The good news is that parents can make a big difference. Where parents are known to communicate with their teenage children, these children are less likely to engage in risky behaviour.”

Very good idea! It would certainly hit any parents with young teen girls, for sure!
Please could you also ensure that some sort of notice is included/additional, that being the horrific possibilities of health damage for life, by consuming ALL ALCOHOL !
It is emperative that our youth are aware of this, otherwise, who will take over our Senior Employment role’s? Who will take care of us old codgers?
