PARENTS are calling for the sale of an energy drink to be banned for youngsters under 18, amid claims it left their children "drunk".

Matt Whyman, from YouthNet, quoted in CYPN says: "Alcohol lowers inhibitions whatever your age, but drink combined with little or no sexual experience can mean dramatic disappointment and regret for young people, or more serious consequences like unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections or even sexual abuse."
