Eric Carlin, Chief Executive of Mentor UK and currently Chair of the Drug Education Forum, has been appointed to the Advisory Council for the Misuse of Drugs.
This has been a bit of an open secret as Eric has been serving on the council for the last few months, but the Home Office have now put his name up on the website so I guess it’s now official.
Eric said:
I’m very pleased to be another voice for prevention and drug education on the ACMD. I hope that my appointment will strengthen that perspective in the deliberations of the council and ensure that our work is founded on an understanding of the needs of children and young people living in a drug using world.
