The Daily Star suggests that the latest government advertising on alcohol isn’t universally welcome:
Tory spokesman Mike Penning said: “They should be targeting binge-drinkers, under-age drinkers and those with alcohol problems rather than the soft target that is the middle-classes.”
But Public Health Minister Dawn Primarolo said: “Glass sizes have grown larger and the strength of many wines and beers has increased, so it is no wonder some of us have lost track of our alcohol consumption.”
