Children & Young People Now have a story on some public health posters developed by young people working with Crime Concern:
They [a group of young people from Nottingham] worked closely with local business mentors to make a series of hard-hitting posters using the tagline “Stop. Think. Achieve” to show the problems of violent crime and drug abuse in Nottingham.
The other campaign has been devised by six teenage girls from Crime Concern’s youth inclusion project (YIP) in Sefton, Greater Merseyside, and looked at the problem of teenage drinking.
There’s also poster from that campaign which accompanied by an educational CD-Rom. This will be sent to youth workers, schools, police and the fire service.
