The BBC report that cookery is to become a compulsory part of the secondary curriculum. Ed Balls, the Secretary of State at the DCSF is quoted saying:
I think it is important to act now and maybe we should have acted earlier.
Meanwhile PSHE remains a non-statutory framework.
Ho hum.
