Police have been issued with a test kit to prove whether teenagers in a Suffolk village have laced cans and bottles of soft drinks with alcohol.Officers hope the tests will cut drink-related crime and anti-social behaviour in Kesgrave, near Ipswich.

Three out of seven shops sold alcohol to an underage teenager during a police and Trading Standards’ operation in Gloucestershire.
The shops were visited in the Churchdown, Innsworth and Brockworth area of the county.

A shop has had its licence to sell alcohol revoked after Trading Standards officers ran test purchases and twice found drink being sold to children.
The Spar Shop in Cottimore Lane, Walton-on-Thames, can now decide whether to appeal against the decision.
