As we’ve emphasised often much of the prevention work done with children and young people doesn’t happen in drug education classes. But all of it tries to impact on risk and protective factors.

An independent report last week declared a Youth Sport Trust and BSkyB initiative that uses sport to help children with poor attendance and challenging behaviour a success.
Academics at Loughborough University monitored the Department for Education and Skills-backed initiative, called Living for Sport, since its launch three years ago.
